Jen Green, ND, Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Jen Green specializes in pediatrics, women’s health and cancer care. She is a graduate of The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Green ran a holistic health center in Toronto before moving to Michigan, as well as having worked at a Toronto-based HIV Clinic. In addition, she helped to initiate a breast cancer program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Green’s publications include chapters in the book, My Breasts, My Choice, as well as articles in the Journal of Complementary and Integrative Medicine and Townsend Letters. She has done research with Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto and was a co-investigator for a trial on Essiac in breast cancer.

Dr. Green is a member of the Michigan Association of Naturopathic Physicians and is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario and New Hampshire. She sits on the steering committee for the Canadian Pediatric Complementary and Alternative Medicine Network. In 2000, She was given the Integrated Women’s Health Award for her clinical excellence in the treatment of women’s health.

A passionate environmentalist, Dr. Green believes that human health and the health of our planet are one, and that we owe it to future generations to preserve our earth, air and water. She helps to run the Environmental Committee at Temple Israel. Her favorite things in life include spending time with her husband and two year old daughter, organic gardening, cooking, kayaking, DJ'ing and dancing.
