Posted on Jay Julie is the best! I always feel better after an acupuncture appointment. Everyone at the office is kind and professional. Highly recommend!Posted on Adriana Francavilla I highly recommend Michigan associates of acupuncture and integrative medicines. I have worked with both Julie’s and I loved both sessions so far. I have been working on my fertility with them. They are understanding, caring, and encouraging. I am always able to relax and wind down during the acupuncture which helps me feel refreshed when I leave.Posted on Kristina Larson The staff and providers at Michigan Associates of Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine are truly the best of the best. The office is warm, cozy, and welcoming, and the reception team is exceptionally kind and helpful—whether you’re checking in, checking out, or scheduling an appointment. The treatment rooms create an ideal environment for a calming, restorative acupuncture experience, complete with heated beds, foot lamps, soothing music, and eye masks. Every provider I’ve seen has been incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making each session both effective and enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend this place more!Posted on Stephanie P Love this place! I’ve seen Julie and Monica for acupuncture for fertility purposes and they are kind, professional, and helpful. It’s so relaxing and helps relieve stress for sure. Highly recommend!Posted on Deidra Catero I knew it would work, but not in the way I expected. From the moment I walked into the office, the whole experience was wonderful, while being both gently and profoundly transformative. Physically: Acupuncture allows your body a safe place to rest into what it needs to realign to, and offers a way to hold its gentle reassessing of where it needs to be. The physical aspects of this type of healing are more than I anticipated, and I am grateful for that. If you give yourself the opportunity to perceive these changes, you will witness what your body has been telling you all along, and begin to learn the language of what it’s trying to communicate to you. Emotionally: The physical alignment gives your nervous system the ability to process in a way that, in our modern society, we don’t often give opportunity for. The quiet time of reflection while your body gently releases tensions that you were not consciously aware of, is far more impactful than normal unassisted rest. Healing (physically and psychologically) gets harder before it gets better, as you finally are in a safe space and allow these things to come to the surface. After a few appointments, once your body recognizes that it CAN have an opportunity to heal, your mind and heart starts to join it. If you allow it, emotions come up for healing that you may not have otherwise given yourself the chance to address. I’ve all of gently cried, drifted to sleep, and released feelings that’s no longer served me, many times while held in a safe place on Julie Silver’s table. The warm, welcoming and comforting atmosphere brings it out of you naturally. Mentally: The peace that comes with a knowing of healing and proof of its work, allows hope to trickle in- that itself, is both relieving and revitalizing. These precious times of peace offer a lot of grounding and reflection, which offers opportunity for growth. Spiritually: The growth is palatable. Giving yourself the “appointment” to perceive, receive and process the messages your body/ heart/ mind are giving you, allows you the opportunity to take that energy/ message and transmute it within yourself, and and reflect back out into the world. This is how you can work to change your environment- starting with your internal one. Ever grateful to Julie Silver, and the team of Michigan Associates of Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine.Posted on Michelle Mintz I have worked with all the acupuncturists here!
