Dr. Alex is a licensed acupuncturist in Michigan. She is also board-certified by the NCCAOM. Because she has a strong medical background, she provides highly effective and safe care. She earned her Doctor of Acupuncture (DAc) degree from the Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago, Illinois.

Her Education and Specialties

During her studies in Chicago, Dr. Alex gained deep clinical experience in many healthcare settings. She specializes in several advanced acupuncture techniques. For example, she uses Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), orthopedic needling, and electro-acupuncture.

Additionally, she practices Master Tung acupuncture. This specific style is famous because it treats acute and chronic pain very quickly. Currently, Dr. Alex is also studying acupuncture for reproductive medicine. She uses these skills to support both male and female fertility.

From Dentistry to Integrative Medicine

Dr. Alex first began her medical career as a general dentist. She earned her dental degree from the University of Medicine in Niš, Serbia. After that, she spent over ten years working in busy, highly-regarded dental clinics. This decade of dental experience helped her develop a deep commitment to patient care and holistic wellness.

Eventually, a deeply personal experience changed her career path. A third member of her family was diagnosed with cancer, even though they lived a very healthy lifestyle. Dr. Alex witnessed the limits of conventional medicine firsthand. She also saw the harsh side effects of standard cancer treatments. Therefore, she began searching for a more complete way to heal. She wanted an approach that treats the root cause of illness and activates the body’s natural healing systems.

Through her studies and practice, Dr. Alex learned that personalized treatments get the best results. She firmly believes in treating the whole person rather than just their symptoms. Today, she uses this holistic approach to restore true balance and harmony in her patients’ lives.
